Established in 1980, Uppermost earned a strong reputation for quality, service and value over 24 years of trading. The Uppermost retail chain comprised 18 outlets located across central Scotland, from the former ship-building heartland of the Clyde in the west to beautiful Musselburgh in the east, famous for its horse racing course. Its shops earned a deserved reputation for quality, service and value and these core values were transferred to the Web via a number of online ventures including this Awards-Trophies-Supplier.co.uk web site. This site was launched in 2002.
In 2004 the 'bricks and mortar' (physical retail shops) side of the Uppermost business was sold and a new entity, Uppermost Business Gifts Ltd., was established to consolidate the Uppermost web sites and our state-of-the-art engraving facilities. These professional engraving services allow us to create unique and personalised awards and products for a range of retail and corporate clients. The Uppermost client list includes blue chip companies such as Scottish and Newcastle Breweries, Standard Life, Rolls-Royce and several Scottish Premier League football clubs. In addition to the trophies and awards available on this Awards Trophies Supplier web site, we also supply engraved corporate gifts and promotional merchandise via our sister site Business Gifts Supplier .co.uk. This site also offers a choice selection of mainly hand cut crystal presentation items, including flat glass awards and crystal blocks, as well as the traditional crystal awards of goblets, tankards, bowls, vases, tumblers and decanters. As with our Awards-Trophies and Business-Gifts Supplier web sites, the Crystal Awards are also offered with free text and logo engraving. In 2005, in response to customer demand from our Business Gifts Supplier website, we opened up a new consumer-orientated site selling our silver plated corporate gifts. This site, Business Gifts Express, allows customers to purchase our silver plated gifts individually or in small quantities (on our trade-based Business Gifts Supplier site, these products are only available in bulk quantity). The Express site offers quick and easy engraved gifts and has proven hugely popular in the consumer market, particularly for couples looking for bridesmaids gifts and groomsman gifts for their weddings. In 2007 a new awards site was added to our portfolio. UppermostAwards offers the cream of our collections of silver trophies, golf trophies, crystal awards and corporate gifts. |
